The best CRM for insurance agents in 2026

An insurance book lives on renewals, follow-ups and pipeline discipline - and most agents start this search when a spreadsheet stops remembering who to call. The four CRMs below cover the same job from $0/mo, and the real differences are who can sit in the tool for free and how the paid tiers bill each seat. Every number is read from the vendors' own pricing pages.

Prices last re-checked 2026-09-27. Numbers are read from each vendor's own pricing page; any exception is flagged under "What to watch".

Best CRM for insurance agents who want a free start: HubSpot

HubSpot is the free-start pick - HubSpot Free is $0/mo for up to two users and 1,000 contacts, a deal pipeline and contact management, so one person, or two, can run the book without a bill. The first paid step is HubSpot Starter at $20/mo, or $15/mo billed annually, per seat. The trade-off: the paid tiers are per seat, and the marketing-contact limits are separate from your CRM contacts - read both numbers before comparing it to a flat-rate CRM.

Best CRM for insurance agencies that want the whole team on one bill: GoHighLevel

GoHighLevel is the one-bill pick - GoHighLevel Starter is $97/mo for 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts and unlimited users, so a growing agency pays one number instead of a seat count. The trade-off: it is built for agencies and client work, it has no free plan, and the add-ons are billed per sub-account, so the sticker price is not always the whole price.

Best CRM for insurance agents who live in the pipeline: Pipedrive

Pipedrive is the pipeline pick - Pipedrive Lite is $24/mo, or $14/mo billed annually, per seat, for lead, deal and activity management with 3,000 open deals and 10 pipelines. The trade-off: it is per seat, so a 5-person team pays five times the number shown, and there is no free plan.
