What we collect

This is a static site: no accounts, no logins, no comment forms. The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser and stores your selections in your browser's local storage — that data never reaches our servers.

Price-change alerts

If you ask us to email you when a tracked price changes, we store your email address and the scope you picked (one tool, or every tool) and nothing else. It is double opt-in: we send a confirmation link first, and you are only on the list after you click it. We send an email ONLY when the weekly re-check logs a real price change — no newsletters, no marketing. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your address. We never sell, share or rent email addresses.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to see which pages get used and where people get stuck (clicks, scrolls, and session recordings). Clarity sets its own cookies. We do not sell this data and we do not use it for advertising. Microsoft's privacy policy. Our own click counter on /go/ links stores a daily tally only — no name and no profile.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the vendor may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. That happens on their site, not ours.
